Wetlands are good for humans and the natural environment.

Why, you ask? Wetlands have many functions that are beneficial. This module will discuss the following functions of wetlands:

  •   wetlands filter harmful substances
  •   wetlands protect against floods
  •   wetlands protect against erosion
  •   wetlands provide food and habitat
  •   wetlands save people money
