Captain assignments will be made by the Captain's
Liaison and posted to the web calendar as a Comment on the date of
reservation.

Operational weeks run Sunday through Saturday.
On the Friday before the week in which a reservation is scheduled,
users will contact their captain and other users for that week to
confirm departure times and set contingency plans for weather days.

Captains are asked to arrive at the vessel 30 minutes
prior to departure to go through pre-cruise safety and maintenance
checks.

Prior to departure, captains are required to call
the MTU Central Heating Plant (487-2707) to confirm that a Float Plan
has been filed.

Captains are asked to refuel the boat and conduct
post-cruise safety and maintenance checks upon return.

Upon return to the dock, captains are required
to call the MTU Central Heating Plant (487-2707) to close the Float
Plan.

Captains are asked to complete a cruise report
to be submitted to Shelle Sandell along with fuel receipts.

Note that a relief captain is required after 12
hours of operation. Captains are responsible for arranging relief,
either by carrying a second captain aboard or by returning to shore
to change captains.
