    Most rich content documents or external web links are designed to open in a second browser window. The second browser window may be in the background.

    You probably have an older web browser. See Help with Web Browsers. Also, style sheet selection requires that javascript is enabled and cookies are accepted. If the default style is unacceptable, see Help with Fonts to learn how to override styles.
